If you need a super quick, nourishing breakfast you can make in minutes, this Banana & Oat Breakfast Smoothie will be your new go-to! I love this recipe because it’s simple, filling, naturally sweet, and uses everyday plant-based ingredients you probably already have at home.
This smoothie is perfect for busy mornings, work-from-home days, or anytime you want something creamy and satisfying without spending much time in the kitchen.
1 medium–large ripe banana
1 cup plant-based milk (almond, oat, soy, rice — your choice)
¼ cup instant oats (or rolled oats)
1 tbsp maple syrup
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp peanut butter
Add all ingredients to a small blender cup.
I used my Tribest Personal Blender, which is great for single-serve smoothies, dressings, and small-batch recipes.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
It’s a great way to start your day when you’re rushing out the door or just want something quick, nourishing, and delicious.
Add greens: A handful of baby spinach blends right in.
Boost protein: Add a scoop of your favorite plant-based protein powder.
Make it thicker: Add a few ice cubes or use a frozen banana.
Make it dessert-y: Add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of nutmeg.
