Recipe Instructions
If you love rich, creamy sauces but want something fast and fuss-free, this vegan peanut satay sauce is perfect. It’s a simple stir-and-serve recipe made in just minutes and works beautifully with noodles, rice, veggies, tofu, or tempeh. No cooking required and no special equipment needed.
This sauce delivers the perfect balance of peanut butter, tamari, lime, coconut cream, and a hint of spice. It’s smooth, luscious, and ideal for anyone following a plant-based lifestyle.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2–4
2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
1 tbsp tamari (or coconut aminos or Bragg’s aminos)
2 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp coconut cream
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chilli flakes (optional and adjustable)
1 tbsp hot water, more if needed
Add the peanut butter to a small bowl. Add the tamari, lime juice, coconut cream, garlic powder, and chilli flakes. Mix well using a whisk, fork, or spoon.
The sauce will be thick and creamy. Add 1 tablespoon of hot water and stir again until smooth. Add more hot water if you want a thinner sauce.
Hot water gently warms the sauce, so there’s no need to heat it on the stove or in the microwave.
Use immediately with noodles, rice, steamed vegetables, tofu, or tempeh skewers. This recipe easily serves two to four people depending on how you use it.
